    菏泽市境内，信道教的很少。当地对道士俗称“道人”，尊称“道长”。
道士居住的庙宇称观、宫或堂。他们的生活来源，一是庙地，一是依靠当地
官宦、乡绅、财主“布施”，不得已时沿村“化缘”。到了清末，道教衰微，
建国前夕该教在菏泽已消失。
