    1950年公布《婚姻法》，废除了旧的婚姻制度，实行一夫一妻制。男女
婚姻自由，受到法律保护。为贯彻新婚姻法，菏泽县成立了“宣传贯彻婚姻
法委员会”，利用各种形式进行宣传。于是婚烟登记逐渐形成制度。仅1952
年到区登记结婚的就有1634对，登记离婚的254对，解除婚约达到婚姻自主的
408起（寡妇改嫁、童养媳解脱不在内）。
