    乡镇工业最初以铁业、木业为主要行业，生产农民急需的生产工具和木
制小农具。党的十一届三中全会后，乡镇工业迅速发展，生产项目逐年增多。
至1985年菏泽市乡镇工业项目有石油化工、机械、五金、建筑材料、农药、
化肥、植物激素、造纸、印刷、文具、棉花加工、丝绸、麻纺、皮革、橡胶、
粮油加工、副食品、日用家具、生活用品、缝纫、服装、工艺美术等20多个
生产项目300多个品种，品种系列已初具规模。
