    2007年，全区共有60多个村开展旧村改造，完成旧村拆迁面积20万平方米，开工建设住宅楼70栋，
面积30万平方米。村镇新建道路9条段，拓宽道路5条，新建桥梁9座，硬化道路面积60万平方米。开
展镇驻地和村庄主要道路的环境综合整治，共拆除沿街乱搭乱建212处，清理店外经营527家，改变了
城镇环境脏乱差的面貌。
