解放前， 遗弃、 溺死女婴、残害妇女等现象较多，男女性别结构失调。1910年，男女性比例为
112.10(以女性为100，下同)。1930年，男女性比例为 114．03。解放后，保护妇女儿童合法权益，
上述现象迅速减少，男女性别结构渐趋合理稳定。1953年人口普查，男女性比例为102．00。1964年
人口普查，男女性比例为104．32。1982年人口普查，男女性比例为104．26。1990年人口普查，男女
性比例为104．87。男女性比例基本平衡。但0～29岁男女性比例为 105．92，比全部人口的男女性比
例高出1．05，0～4岁和5～9岁两个年龄组男女性比例分别为113．58、107．76，明显偏高。
