    自行车又称脚踏车，俗称“洋车子”，是城乡人民用以代步或载运少量物资的轻便交通工
具。
    解放前，临沭地方只有少数人家才有。建国初，自行车也很少。1952年，县邮政局邮递员
逐步改步班为自行车班。1957年后，自行车开始进入职工家庭。1985年每百户农民拥有自行车
112辆，每百户职工拥有自行车193辆。此后逐渐普及。
    2000年后，县内出现用蓄电池作能源驱动的电动车，主要有二轮和三轮两种，至2007年底，
全县已达到4.8万辆，大有取代自行车之势。
