    1986年起，临沭县财政不断加强财源建设，严格收入征管，深化财政体制改革，着力做好生财、聚财、用财文章。2007年，全县实现财政总收入6.6亿元，其中地方财政收入2.7亿元，是1986年的25倍，年均增长16.6%；实现一般预算支出6.5亿元，是1986年的25.7倍，年均增长16.7%。自1987年起，全县连续21年实现财政收支平衡。
