    2001年起，临沭县房地产突出体制创新和机制创新，强化房产行业管理，全县房产事业健康有序发展。至2007年，全县城市规划区房产总面积约500万平方米，其中建设居住用房347万平方米，办公营业用房153万平方米，县城区98%的居民有自己的住房，户均面积80平方米，人均面积28平方米，均高于全省平均水平。
