    1950年4月，临沭县人民检察署成立。1955年12月，改称临沭县人民检察院。1956年3月
撤销。 1961年8月，临沭县人民检察院恢复。1968年，检察职权由中国人民解放军临沭县公
安机关军事管制小组行使，1973年改由县公安局行使。1978年4月，临沭县人民检察院重建，
担负审查批捕、审查起诉、出庭支持公诉等工作，相继开展法纪检察、监所检察等项业务。
1979年底，县检察院下设审查批捕股、审查起诉股、法纪检察股、监所检察股、经济检察股
和办公室。 1981年1月，成立检察委员会。1982年1月，增设控告申诉检察股，2月，各股改
称科。1984年11月，增设政工科和技术科。1985年，有工作人员36人。
