    “文化大革命”前，档案多数藏于各单位，查阅者甚少。1978年后，馆藏档案数量增多，查用档案的人数迅速增加。1979年至1982年，县档案馆为落实政策提供利用档案6385卷次。1989年，县档案馆接待查阅档案资料3447人次，查阅3849卷册。档案利用，不限于机关团体，也发展到社会个人。县档案馆和各单位档案室为各级领导研究指导中心工作，平反冤假错案，解决山林土地等民事纠纷及开展科学研究、编史修志等，提供了大量资料，发挥了重要作用。
