    1975年以前，县境内建筑施工主要用木架杆、抱干、卷扬机、提升架、铁锨、镢头、锤子、瓦刀等工具，建筑送料以手推车或手提、肩扛为主。1976年购进混凝土搅拌机、沙浆搅拌机，以后逐步增添8吨米向阳吊、16吨米和25吨米塔吊、万能试压机等。至1989年，全县有大型建筑机械260台(部)，总功率3500千瓦，其中施工机械2480千瓦。内有卷扬机62台，混凝土搅拌机31台，带锯3台，汽车12部，拖拉机20台，轮胎起重机1台，塔式起重机9台，压路机2台，其它机械120台。1989年，全县建筑企业固定资产总值3220万元，其中县建筑公司350万元，动力装备率人均0.5千瓦，技术装备率人均400元。
