    1957年，全县农业社组织志愿消防队878个。1978年,在厂矿建立义务消防队32个,有义务消防员330名。1989年，在石油公司、化肥厂、造纸厂等单位成立19个义务消防队，设抢险、灭火、警卫组,有义务消防员624名。置消防栓27个，消防泵47台，高压水管250米,干粉和泡沫灭火器900个。
