    为有效地利用档案，县档案馆对所存卷宗编制了案卷目录、全引目录、文件卡片、人名卡片、文号索引、开放历史档案目录、存放地点索引等多种检索工具；编写了《县委全宗介绍》、《县政府全宗介绍》。为编史修志、落实党的各项政策、制订计划、处理违纪案件和社会纠纷等提供资料。
    据统计，1979年查阅档案的有346人次、460卷次，1982年上升到581人次、962卷次，1985年达到832人次、1441卷次。
