    民国肇始，设立县议会。1914年奉令取消县自治，解散县议会。1923年10月又恢复县议会，有议员17人，议长王景祯，副议长崔兆梓。北伐军入山东，山东省政府于1927年8月通令解散军阀统治时期的议会。1945年1月，中华民国政府决定分期成立临时参议会。费县由县政府主持，在国民党县党部驻地召开大会，宣布张瞻林为参议长。1945年8月日本投降后解散。
