    清代县级财政支出，主要是官俸、衙役工食银和杂支，从起解田赋正银中坐支。据清光绪《费县志》记载，费县每年经费开支除征收时的费用开支六百一十两四钱六分外，官俸、衙役工食、杂支银一千三百四十四两一钱三分二厘。杂支主要项目有文庙银、香烛银、岁贡盘费银等。
    民国前期，费县为二等县，县公署行政经费每月支出726元（银元），1931年以后，增加到每月1126元。50年代末，费县财政支出逐渐形成预算内和预算外支出两条渠道。
