    长山生态保护区成立于 2012年 4月，辖原平邑县白马乡及经济开发区庞居、新安、八埠庄、毛家庄等村。2013
年 5月与平邑街道合署办公，2014年 5月从平邑街道分离，以长山生态保护区为载体成立平邑县城北指挥部，将平邑
街道利民、张庄工作区的同太、利国、民居、北苑社区、东张庄、西张庄一、西张庄二、西张庄三、向阳村、胜利村
等纳入辖区，现辖 27个行政村，43个自然村，设白马、庞居、利民、吴家庄、贺庄、张庄6个工作区。总面积 99.3
平方千米，有农村人口53582人。办公地点在白马社区，电话区号 0539，邮政编码273309。
