    位于平邑县的最北端，与蒙阴、新泰接壤，三面环山，中部平原。全镇总面积 81平方公里，人口 3.8万，耕地
面积 4.2万亩。新拓宽的 335省道贯穿武台全境，村村通水泥公路，有小（一）型、小（二）型水库 12座，塘坝 41
处。武台镇是著名的果品之乡，是山东省四大果区之一，所产的桃和葡萄被国家农业部授予“无公害农产品”称号。
这里是一座秀色可餐的生态农业风光宝库，5万多亩果园连成一片，风光优美。已探明花岗石储量2亿立方米，铁矿石
800万吨，钠长石 450万吨，另外还有金矿、石棉矿等。
