    蒙阴县地理坐标东经117°45′～118°15′，北纬35°27′～36°02′。县境在山东省中南部，蒙山北麓，东汶河上游，是沂蒙山区的腹地。东邻沂水、沂南县，西靠新泰市，南依蒙山与费县、平邑县交界，北与沂源县接壤。县城距行署驻地临沂市95公里，距省会济南市186公里，距首都北京市673公里。
