    建国初各医疗单位只有一般的外科清创缝合手术器械。1953年上级配给显微镜1台。1960年陆续装备外科、妇产科手术器械，简易手术床，X光机、电冰箱、培养箱等。1971～1987年，省卫生厅每年为本县装备大、中型医疗器械和设备70余种，价值近20万元。各乡（镇）卫生院都配有X光机、显微镜、电冰箱、干燥箱、高压消毒器、普外手术器械，部分乡（镇）医院有综合手术床、无影灯、心电图机等。1981年县医院列为全省重点医院，各种大、中型医疗器械和设备基本齐全，固定资产已达250余万元。
