    1964年12月1日，在县园艺场创办了1所半工半读林业中专学校。属林蚕果综合专业。招生对象：具有初中文化程度的农村未婚男女青年。由公社推荐，经县统一考试，择优录取。招收1个班，学员40人，学制3年。开设课程：语文、数学、物理、化学、植物学、测量学、土壤肥料学、森林利用学、果品加工、林业管理等9门。1967年12月，在校生36名，全部毕业，国家不包分配，返回本社队。1985年4月7日，国家宣布承认其学历，给36名学员补发了林业中专毕业证书。
