    建国前，县没有劳动管理机构。1956年5月县人委成立劳动科，次年撤销。其业务先后由民政局、计划委员会设专职人员负责。1975年县设劳动局，1987年底，有局长1人，副局长2人，工作人员17人。下属有劳动服务公司和社会劳动保险事业处。
