    1951年11月，县成立“中苏友好协会”，张成功、张同进先后任会长。各区、乡设分会和支会。凡是积极拥护中苏友好，自愿报名填表登记者即可为协会会员。参加协会的成员，主要是县、区、乡的干部、教师、工人和农民中的积极分子。到1952年底，共有会员2.5万人，占全县总人口数的10.8％。协会会员，每人发给铜质圆形中苏友好协会会员证章1枚，会费自愿交纳。自1953年3月斯大林逝世后，县协会活动减少。到1954年底友协组织自行解体。
