    本县金银收兑自1948年开始，先后由北海银行蒙阴县办事处和人民银行蒙阴县支行办理。1962年前，只收兑银元，自1963年开始收兑黄金与银锭。收兑单价：黄金每克1979年前兑人民币3.04元，1980～1984年调为13元，1985年调为16.20元。白银收兑，1967年以前，每克兑人民币0.04元，1968年调为0.54元，1974年调为0.10元，1981年调为0.20元。银元每枚1949年兑人民币1.18元，1950年调为1.25元，1955年调为1.00元，1974年调为2.50元，1981年调为5.00元。
    1949～1987年共收兑黄金3314克，白银58354克，银元69612枚。1974年收兑量最大，收兑黄金415克，银元8002枚。
