    全县地下水的pH值在7～8.5之间，地表水的pH值在8.5～9之间。1984年化验的107个水样中，符合一级水标准（pH值7～7.5）的34处，占31.8％；符合二级水标准(pH值6.5～8)的53处，占45.9％；符合三级水标准（pH值6～8.5）的18处，占16.8％；三级以下的有桃墟乡的大庙村井水（pH值为9），界牌乡的交界墩村的地下水（pH值为8.6）。
