    1976年9月，沂水县政府设环境保护办公室(以下简称环办)。1978年设环保监测
站，隶属环办。1984年5月，县政府机构进行改革，环办、城建局、基本建设委员会
合并，成立县城乡建设环境保护委员会(以下简称建委)，设环保股、环保监测站。1
986年9月，重新成立县环境保护办公室，为副局级行政单位。1988年11月改为县环境
保护局(事业单位)，1990年7月，环保局下设人秘股、管理股、财务股、环保监测站
。至年底，全局共有干部职工30人。设局长1人、副局长2人、调研员2人。
