    1964年起，莒南县陆续接收来自济南、青岛、淄博、临沂市的下乡知识青年。到
1978年，共接收2332人，加上县内的484人，总计2816人。这些人分别被安置在12个
公社的110个生产大队。知识青年下乡后改为农业户口参加农业生产劳动，在生产队
分配。1974年后，县政府每年都拨出一定数量的参军、招工、升学指标给下乡知识青
年。1979年知识青年开始陆续回城。1980年底下乡知识青年全部就业。
