    1980年12月成立莒南县司法局。1981年1月成立莒南县公证处和莒南县法律顾问处。
1985年在陡山乡试建法律服务站，后各乡(镇)相继建立法律服务站，1988年25个乡(
镇)配备司法助理27人。乡(镇)法律服务站共有人员76人。1991年全县25个乡(镇)均
设立司法所。1993年，基层法律服务站共担任537家法律顾问，办理各项法律业务23
189件，为国家、集体和个人挽回经济损失2194.3万元。是年，成立莒南县司法局法
律服务中心。
