    1968年，先在路镇区西洪沟大队水稻田中使用除草醚试验，效果良好，后在稻田中大
面积推广。1982年，壮岗、板泉公社在麦田试用二甲四氯和杀草丹，并在全县推广。
县内使用的化学除草剂，还有拉索、杜尔、绿麦隆、氟乐灵、扑草净、乙草胺等。1
993年，全县化学除草面积60万亩左右。
