    莒南县位于山东省东南部，东经118°33′23"-119°11′40"，北纬35°00′26"-35
°23′43"。东临日照市，南接江苏省赣榆县，西南连临沭县，西邻临沂市，西北依
沂南县，北与莒县接壤。境域东西最长56公里，南北最长43公里，地表总面积1752平
方公里。
    团林乡埃沟村到江苏省赣榆县海州湾7.5公里，是莒南县至黄海最近处。
    莒南县人民政府驻地十字路，距临沂地区行政公署驻地临沂市46公里，距山东省
人民政府驻地济南市235公里。
