    1940年3月边联县抗日民主政府建立三科，主管交通工作。1950年4月成立临沂公路段卞庄公路站，1954年改为苍山县公路站。1956年苍山县成立交通科，1958年8月更名为苍山县委交通运输指挥部。1960年6月改名为苍山县交通局，9月苍山县公路站与交通局合署办公。1963年公路站从交通局分出，成立临沂地区公路管理段苍山公路站。1979年8月成立苍山县联运办公室。1994年1月苍山县公路站更名为临沂地区公路局苍山县公路管理局。1996年10月苍山县交通局更名为苍山县交通委员会。
