    1988年前，执行案件比较少。1988年后，民事纠纷、经济案件增多，需要执行的案件积压。1988年至1991年需要执行而未执行的近百件，对每个未执行案件逐一审查后，4个月结案435件，执行标的额460余万元。1992年至1993年集中力量搞审理，逐案排查，逐案执行，解决了一大批积压的应执行案件。1994年至1995年2年间组成外地执行组，奔赴黑龙江、吉林、福建、浙江执行。1996年10月执行组到吉林后，在当地公安局、法院的配合下，终于将人犯星夜押回苍山。
