    建国初期，苍山县没有专门的劳动机构，其业务由县计划委员会负责。1956年9月成立劳动科，1958年6月改称劳动局。1962年8月劳动局撤销，其业务并入县计划委员会。1977年1月恢复苍山县劳动局。1984年劳动局设立中共党组。1996年苍山县劳动局下辖办公室、劳动服务公司、劳动保险事业处、劳务工作办公室、职业培训中心、劳动监察大队等。
