    1958年前，机动车辆较少，无专设交通安全管理机构。1958年交通局成立时，设路政股，其中1人负责交通监理。
    1975年建交通监理站，现该站有站长1人，监理员5人，配有北京212吉普车一辆，长江250偏三轮摩托车1辆，汽车测速仪1台。
