    高唐县位于山东省西北部，介于东经116°00’00"～116°3'00"，北纬36°37’30"～37°02’30"之间。南北长42.4公里，东西宽40.75公里，面积948.86平方公里。东与禹城、齐河两县为邻，西与临清市、夏津县接壤，南靠茌平县，北邻平原县。县城居于县境中部，位于北纬36°51’00"、东经116°13’00"。东南距省会济南107公里，西南距行署聊城56公里。至禹城县城38公里，至齐河县城48公里，至茌平县城30公里，至临清县城58公里，至夏津县城26公里，至平原县城43公里。
