    清代，民政由县衙户房管理。民国初，设民政科。1928年后，先后由第三科、第一科管理民政。1938年，县抗日政府设民政科。1942年，民政科与教育科合并称民教科。1944年，恢复民政科。建国后仍设民政科，1956年改称民政局。1970年，撤销民政局，设县革委生产指挥部民政组。1975年，恢复民政局。
