    清道光年间，冠县所产棉麻等产品曾通过德国人在济南开办的“礼和详行”出口。建国初，县内经营的出口商品仍很少。1971年始增多，主要有瓜籽、辣椒干、鸭梨、羊皮、羊毛、鲁西黄牛、苜蓿、槐米等，到1976年发展到30多个品种。1985年增加到5个门类，60多个品种，其中吉豆、兔肉、蚕茧、棉花、椒干、桐木、山羊板皮、绵羊毛等都成为大宗出口商品。出口商品收购额，1971年32.2万元，1986年达到4322.95万元，为出口商品收购以来最高的一年。1987年收购完成4164.7万元。
