    1950年开展妇女病查治，对5个区289个村已婚妇女21546人进行调查统计，患妇女病者518人，占2.4%，分别进行治疗；并逐步推广月经期、孕期、产期、哺乳期保护措施。1964年后，分别对患子宫脱垂、宫颈糜烂的5463人进行治疗。1979年，对原有子宫脱垂病人进行调查，给未愈病人486例采用明矾注射疗法，或施以手术修补疗法，多数痊愈。1984年，根据预防为主方针，开展妇女劳动保护宣传和围产期保健宣传。1985年，对全县29175名应查妇女进行普查，共查出各种病人5406名，分别进行综合治疗。
