    建国初期，全县有个体修秤业6户，主要分布于顾官屯区杜庄、卜庄、大秦和陈集区八里庄等村。1955年6月，手工业联社成立，在农业、手工业合作化运动中，修秤业纳入铁木业生产合作社，组成修秤组，以修木杆秤为主。最大称量为300市斤，最小称量为20两以下的戥秤，1959年改产10两制市秤。1962年修秤业划归县修配社（修配厂）。1970年后，除生产木杆秤外，并维修台秤、地衡。1979年后，个体修秤户增加，老修秤工多带徒传艺，至1985年，全县修秤工发展到9人。
