    1931年（民国20年），民国县政府设度量衡检定所。1941年，东阿县抗日政府工商管理局成立后，兼管度量衡管理工作。1976年，县革委科技办公室设东阿县标准计量所，1979年2月，标准计量所在文化街东段征地4.9亩建址。1985年，设所长1人，办事人员7人。7月由科委划归县经委领导。
