    东阿丝织业历史久远，《后汉书·郡国志》载：阿地出缯缣，故秦王服阿缟。阿缟，做为一种上乘丝织品，昌盛于秦汉，发展于隋唐，历代做为贡品进献皇室。宋元以后，因兵乱灾荒，加之棉纺织业兴起，丝织业渐趋衰落。至抗日战争前，尚有少数剿丝及部分丝织业户。
