    境内沿黄有山丘10余座，曾是全地区石料主要来源。近山村庄历代有开山采石传统，毛石经石场加工后，除供当地建筑需用外，并运往外地。1950年，全县有石塘9个，年产石料1000立方米。1966年发展至15个，产石料2000立方米。70年代中期后，山石多用于石灰生产和公路建设，加之资源逐渐匮乏，石料生产减少。
