    1954年3月，成立临清镇妇幼保健站，主管城区内的妇幼保健工作。1956年成立临清县妇幼保健站，负责全县农村的妇幼卫生工作。1958年市、县保健站合并成临清市妇幼保健站。至1990年底，有工作人员39人，主要仪器设备有万能手术床、胎心监护仪等20余件。
