    自1945年9月宁津县抗日民主政府进驻县城，至1959年10月，宁津县无档案机构，档案均由各部门自行保存。1959年11月8日，宁津县建立档案馆。1966年撤销。1980年7月20日，恢复档案馆。1986年，在县委办公楼西侧建成档案楼，面积1370平方米。1987年，有馆长1名，工作人员6名。
