    人民检察院1956年开始行使监所职权。1978年县检察院重建后，依法对刑事判决裁定的执行实行监督。即对监管场所内和社会上执行刑事判决的监督；对看守所羁押、释放人犯是否遵守法定时限，看管措施是否合法的监督。通过检察，发现间题，提出纠正意见和建议，并报上级有关部门；处理犯人及其家属向人民检察院提出的申诉和控告。
