    1983年11月30日，成立临邑县审计局，内设综合科、企业审计科、财政金融行政事业审计科。按照国务院《关于审计工作的暂行规定》，对财政金融机构和企事业组织的财务收支进行审计监督。全县有49个单位建立了内部审计机构，其中12个主管局和公司建立了审计科，配备专职审计干部25人，另有37个单位配备了兼职审计员。
