    1984年水产资源调查，全县总计水面95610亩，其中河道58770亩，坑塘36837亩。
    一、河道
    黄河左侧45000亩，占全县水面的66％；徒骇河右侧2252亩；内河11518亩。
    二、坑塘
    县旧有73屯，是元朝以来屯兵垦殖之地，掘池饮马屯必有水。清咸丰以来，县境黄河决口凡52次，积水面大者1000亩；还有不少坑塘和废弃河道。较好的宜鱼坑塘，多在仁里集、大张、潘店、务头、马集、赵官镇、胡官屯、富足店等乡镇。1985年有坑塘2581个，面积36837亩，其中可养鱼坑塘1254个，面积11696亩；可种藕坑塘936个，面积4724亩。
