    道教是中国汉民族固有的宗教。公元142年由张道陵倡导于鹤鸣山，凡入道者须出五斗米，故亦称“五斗米道”，因道教徒尊张道陵为“天师”，故又名“天师道”。道教奉老子为教祖，尊称“太上老君”。以《老子五千文》、《正一经》和《太平洞极经》为主要经典。道教分四派三宗，县内道士属何宗派无考，人数亦不详。
