    1932年(民国21年)，山东省建设厅在赵牛河西畔兴隆庄设水文站。1958年地区水利局在赵牛河北畔刘连屯设水文站。1963年山东省水文总站在温聪河东畔葛庄设水文站，1966年又在赵牛河北畔李官屯设水文站。1973年，县水利局设专门水测报组，配专职人员4名。至1985年全县计设水文测报点52个，有兼职观测员33名。积累有关水流、水温、地下水、降水、水质分析等专门资料，提交省、地、县水利部门，为领导科学决策提供依据，为发展生产起到积极作用。
