    1980年12月建齐河县公证处，设主任、副主任各1名，公证员1名，工作人员2名。至1985年，公证人员增至4名。
    1981－1985年，协助当事人修改经济合同650件，起草合同82件，对不真实、不合法的合同，拒办公证78件，并对其中违法犯罪的34件给予及时揭露，避免经济损失180万元。其间，共办理各项公证16803件，收取公证业务费2.5万元。
