    1951年1月，县人民银行设保险股，1953年1月，正式建立县保险公司，设经理1人，办事员4人，至1958年撤销。1981年1月县人民银行信贷股兼办保险业务，同年3月专设保险股。1984年1月，恢复建立齐河县保险公司。1985年，县保险公司设人事秘书股、计财股、业务股，计有干部职工15人。
